A playful reference to the debate between anthropologists Gregory Bateson and Margaret Mead about the use of the camera—or more specifically, the tripod—in anthropological fieldwork, Tripod Day documents the choreographies that unfold between bodies, cameras and butterflies in a beloved artificially created ecosystem.
